I am a resident of Uttar Pradesh and am a motor mechanic. I want to open a pollution testing center in my area. So what eligibility criteria do I have to fulfill to open a pollution testing centre?
To open a pollution testing center, you must fulfill the following eligibility and conditions.
- You will have to get a No Objection Certificate from the RTO office of the area where you are opening the pollution testing center.
- You can open your pollution testing center near a petrol pump/automobile workshop.
- For this, you will have to pay license and security fees. Which is different in all states.
- You will have to renew the license every year. Because the validity of the license is one year.
- There should be a yellow-colored cabin for the pollution testing center. Whose length should be 2.5 meters, width 2 meters, and height 2 meters.
- It is necessary to write the license number at the pollution testing center.
- Along with this, you must have a computer, USB webcam, inkjet printer, power supply, internet connection, and smoke analyzer.

What is the eligibility to open a pollution testing center?
