Yes, The Curable Trust is indeed a fake NGO and a well-organized scam currently operating in Delhi. Many individuals, including my own sister, have received emotionally manipulative phone calls from people claiming to represent this organization. In her case, they told a heart-wrenching story about a 4-month-old baby girl named Siya who allegedly needed urgent life-saving surgery. They used high-pressure tactics to invoke sympathy and rush people into making donations, often without giving any real verifiable information.

When asked for critical details such as the name of the treating doctor or the hospital’s contact information, they either refused to share it or provided vague and misleading responses. This is a major red flag. In most of these cases, the stories are completely fabricated, and the money collected never reaches any needy child. If you ever receive such calls, it’s essential to stay cautious—always ask for proper documentation and independently verify the case with the mentioned hospital.

Do not donate unless you are absolutely sure of the authenticity. It’s also advisable to report such fraudulent calls to the local police or cybercrime authorities to help stop these scams and protect others from being victimized.
